Comedian Bill Maher drew the ire of Tim Tebow fans and Christians over the weekend after a profane tweet reveling in the Broncos' blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.

"Wow, Jesus just f***ed #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere ... Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler "Hey, Buffalo's killing them," Maher tweeted.

Tebow, whose team suffered its second straight loss after a six-game winning streak, did not respond to Maher's tweet.

After the disappointing 40-14 road loss, Tebow tweeted, "Tough game today but what's most important is being able to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas everyone GB2."

GB2 is a phrase Tebow has made popular that means "God Bless + Go Broncos," according to his official website.

CoH please.

Ever since Tebow cut his anti-Christmas PSA, the Broncos have lost. Coincidence?

Once again Bill Maher shows his class! And all of it is really low. Not only does he enjoy mocking other peoples beliefs but he is unable to do so without profanity.

I don't care what you believe in, that is your's and your's alone, and will not mock you if I don't believe the same as you.

Bill Maher should be shunned, if not ostricised, for his arrogance and inability to express himself in a civilised manner.

Also the word @!$%# is so passe, all it does now is show a lack of class and intelligence!

So you claim Maher is mocking people's beliefs my mocking his beliefs. Interesting.

Bill Maher should be shunned, if not ostricised, for his arrogance and inability to express himself in a civilised manner.

Most of the right wing media would be off the air using this standard.

If that is what it takes so be it. Why should we not behave in a more civilised manner towards one another?

if people are going to make rediculous claims that jesus is helping along a team, then Bill Maher has every right to mock a rediculous claim...especially when it doesnt come true.

like that guy who said the world was going to end, i think we have every right to goof on him!

      rediculous

How about I start to mock you because you can't spell ridiculous? What if I said: "Why should we listen to this guy because he can't @!$%#ing spell ridiculous"?

Have I made my point? We don't have to be nasty when we critisize someone!
