Wednesday night on Fox News, Ms. Palin said that one thing she loves about the GOP is that it believes in competition among its members.

"You know ... we don't have just the fighting instincts of a bunch of sheep, like I think a lot of Democrats do," said Palin.

Funny, coming from someone with the intellect of your average farm animal.

And the Republicans have the war mongering, elitist attitude of a Nazi. <irony intended>

Funny, coming from someone with the intellect of your average farm animal.

The statement is true, but even a blind squirrel finds the occasional acorn. Much as I hate to agree with anything coming out of this woman's mouth, I have to agree with her on this point.

It is unfortunate, but the Democrats do have an tendency to try and reach a compromise that allows the best of all points of view. This is why we have a healthcare law that involves the insurance industry rather than something that would actually better address the needs of the population. Then no one in the GOP voted for it anyway so it turned out to be wasted effort.

The Democrats are geared toward governing rather than simply seeking power. However, it is the GOP base that more clearly resembles sheep in that they simply fall in line and vote for whichever idiot is selected to lead the party rather than actually think for themselves about what would be best for the country. I think that is the main reason so many people who were once Republicans, just can't continue to follow the Judas Goat into the slaughterhouse.

Have to agree with the media whore on that one. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day. Unfortunately way too many liberals don't seem to like to fight when it is apparent that they need to. Having grown up as a (R)egressive, I never had that problem. However, I prefer to defend me and mine against the reTHUGliCON/teapugNUT machine.

hey even jon stewart seconds palin on this. Democrats need to learn to fight and stand up for themselves. Stand up for what they believe in.That doesnt mean war mongering.

Didn't President Obama win the election of 2008? Didn't he get his healthcare reform passed in Congress? Other presidents tried and failed to get such reform done and it happened under President Obama's administration. I don't think Ms. Palin even knows she lost the election of 2008.

Palin is speaking of fighting amongst themselves, not fighting for their issues. I disagree with that, the Republicans are more in lockstep with the party than Democrats, just look at how they voted en bloc on major issues. The Democrats did not, otherwise we would not have had the watered down legislation that was passed.

What strikes me the most is that terrifying phrase she used: "I think". When Sarah thinks, trouble lies ahead.

Palin is no fighter, she can't even think for herself--so you don't need to worry.

Sarah has never been in a political fight. Hand-picked audiences, cream puff interviews, hit-and-run rhetoric. She's as phony as they come. If you never go outside your comfort zone, what do you expect?

I'd like to see a two hour interview of Palin by Rachel Maddow. Priceless.

I would have prefered to have had her do an inerview with Tim Russert while he was alive. That would have been worth selling on PPV!

And this is why Palin only does T-ball interviews with FOX News -- because she so clearly has the intestinal fortitude, intellectual capacity, and extemporaneous speaking skills necessary to address non-prescreened and follow-up questions from an interviewer who doesn't feel at home with his nose firmly wedged between her butt cheeks.

If you gave Palin a frontal labotomy it would be an improvement, intellecually.

AlphaDogReporter:  Agreed.  An interview between Rachel and Sarah would be a hoot!!!!  Sarah would be no match with Rachel.  Rachel has brains and she uses them.  If Rachel makes a statement which turns out (seldom) to be wrong she apologizes.  What does Sarah do????  She blames somebody else.  She will not go out of her comfort zone because she knows it would be a lost cause.  She is only good at talking down other people who do not agree with her.  She doesn't have a brain in her head to accomplish anything that would benefit our country.  Tear us down -- that's her answer.  What a laugh.

PS:  She even needs help to shoot down a reindeer AND she is touted as being an outdoors person.  She really is an embarrassment to the feminines of this country.
